மீண்டும் தாதா வேடம் போடுகிறார் அஜீத். அஜீத் தாதா வேடம் போடுவது புதிதல்ல. தீனா படத்தில் தாதாவின் தம்பியாக வந்தார்.
ரெட் படத்தில் மிரட்டல் தாதாவாக நடித்துக் கலக்கினார். சமீபத்தில் வெளியான பில்லா படத்தில் படா தாதாவாக பட்டையைக் கிளப்பினார். இந்த நிலையில் அடுத்து அவர் நடிக்கவுள்ள சுராங்கனி படத்திலும் தாதா வேடம் போடுகிறாராம். இப்படத்தை இயக்கவிருப்பது கெளதம் மேனன். சிவாஜி பிலிம்ஸ் இப்படத்தைத் தயாரிக்கிறது.
இப்படத்துக்கான டிஸ்கஷனை கெளதம் மேனன் தொடங்கி விட்டார். அவரும், அஜீத்தும் சேர்ந்து கதையை ஷேப் செய்ய ஆரம்பித்துள்ளனர். இப்படத்தை பிரமாண்டமாக கொடுக்க திட்டமிட்டுள்ளனராம்.

Ajith and Raju Sundaram can smile a lot since their venture Aegan is proving to a very Big Box office hit. According to yahoo movies news Aegan ranks number five in the U.K Top ten Indian Films (including Bollywood movies) based on box office collections in the United Kingdom. In Paris and Germany Aegan is marching towards success scoring one of the highest place in collections.
Although many popular Hollywood movies of big stars were released in U.K during the same week as Aegan, it’s the massive audience revisits continued this movie in box office collections. Another fact is that many Bollywood movies released during this week have failed to entertain the expectations of eager audiences. It is to be remembered that the SriLankan Tamizh Diasporas out there protested against the release of Aegan due to a rumor that was spread against Ajith kumar. Ayngaran International must be very happy with all this as this is their first production.
Aegan Sucess will surely popularize Raju Sundaram as a wanted director in Kollywood. It is heard that Ajith’s collaboration with Gautham Menon and Venkat Prabhu has already stoked up the curiosity of the NRIs of UK and US!

Breaking News- Gautham parts way with Ajit!

In a sudden development, Gautham Vasudeva Menon’s contract with Sivaji Productions to direct Ajit’s next film has been terminated!
It has come as a bolt from the blue, as Gautham was busy with checking the prints of Vaaranam Aayiram and settling issues regarding the film’s Friday release!
Now the latest we hear is that Sivaji Productions has roped in Dharani to direct their Ajit venture, and shooting would start sometime in December.
Dharani has been asked to complete a script which will pander to the taste of Ajit fans, a typical mass masala.
As per our sources, trouble started brewing between Gautham and Ajit, almost a month back, over the delay in completing the script of the film. Gautham wanted to try out something different with Ajit, a realistic thriller about a killer and an extortionist.
The story was loosely based on Abu Salem- Monica Bedi affair, with Ajit playing a petty hoodlum from Tuthukudi called Sura who becomes an international criminal through extortion and kidnapping.
Later he meets a Kollywood actress Ragini to be played by Sameera Reddy, and falls in love.(hence the title Surangani). She joins him in his criminal activities (a la Bonnie and Clyde?), before a policeman (to be played by Prabhu) starts a manhunt for the deadly duo.
Everybody was kicked about the one line story, till things went awry between the star and his director. It seems Gautham’s comment at the Vaaranam Aayiram audio launch that “Surya is the most versatile actor in Kollywood” did not go down well with a section of actors in the industry.
Soirces close to Ajit say that Gautham took Ajit for granted, did not pander to his star ego, and did not meet the star on a regular basis which also led to a lot of misunderstanding.
Later it was said that the story will not be lapped up by Ajit fans as their hero is shown as an extortionist, which will go against his image. So Sivaji Productions have now chosen Dharani over Gautham, as he understands the nuances of making star movies.
For Dharani who has given mega hits like Dhil, Dhool and Ghilli, it will be his first film with Ajit.

How to Fool a Tamilan ? - This is How !
Adding on to the several problems existing in Tamil Nadu ,the Ajith-Eelam issue Has been blown out of proportions. Even though this is not of any historical importance It would be better if we dwell a little deep into this issue for better understanding. Ajith fans would have already assumed Vijay fans are behind this. But this is not the Truth. Ajith and Vijay require strong competitors like one another. No one without the other can remain a superstar as it is the aggressive competition between them that makes both of them special and they and their fans themselves would have realized this. If this is the case, then who could be behind this hoax directed against Ajith?
Before searching for an answer we should contemplate over this question : “Why is that it is only the Cinema Actors Association (NADIGAR SANGAM), that takes up such social and controversial issues and revolts against it?”. They very well know that these protests would not reach most of them outside Tamil Nadu. No one in Delhi is going to appreciate their protests and watch them on television. Don’t Nadigar Sangam know this?
They do know this, but why should they act this way if they are aware of it? All they desire is to win the attention of Tamil nadu people alone. So what do they gain from this? What else, sheer political advantage.
Browsing through tamil cinema history, the first protest of this kind happened under LATE Mr. Sivaji Ganesan’s leadership. He was a member of Congress party then. Later, Nadigar Sangam conducted a fast for the Cauvery Water issue presided by Mr.Vijaykanth which is well known to everyone in Tamil Nadu and it was time when Mr.Vijaykanth was involved vehemently in politics. Now the Baton has passed on to Mr.Sarathkumar’s hands. It is to be noted that Mr.Sarathkumar too leads a political party like Mr.Vijaykanth.
During Sivaji Ganesan’s times I was in my childhood consequently I will be unable to comment on the real intention of his, behind the protest lead by him. But I am eligible to and should comment on the intentions of Vijaykanth and Sarath Kumar. Both of them stepped in as NADIGAR SANGAM heads , to use this tenure in favor of their political ambitions in Tamil Nadu as they were aware that being the head of NADIGAR SANGAM in a cinema-centric society would fetch them rich returns if utilized well.
If the Nadigar Sangam shows its concern over some social issue, the first person to get highlighted amidst the society is the Nadigar Sangam Head. This would create an impression in the common man’s mind that the Head is very socially responsible person and this how the game of politics is played in the world of cinema.
Vijaykanth did this while heading the Nadigar Sangam and the feud that cropped up between Vijaykanth and Sarathkumar because of this is well known to most of us. Once Vijaykanth won in State Elections at Vrudhachalam , he resigned his position as Nadigar Sangam Head. Sarath Kumar who has been waiting for this to happen climbed up the ladder to acquire the prestigious position and did get it. Now like most of the Nadigar Sangam heads, Sarath wants to be highlighted.
To be the center of attraction, what should be done? Was the question on Sarath’s mind. Like Vijaykanth take up a social issue – was the answer he arrived at. Sarath took up the hogenakkal cauvery water issue and all the big wigs in cinema industry heeded to his orders to participate in the fast , to satisfy him as he was a newly appointed leader. However, many actors refused to talk on stage during this fast and Ajit was one among these who refused to address the crowd. This infuriated Sarath. It was hard for him to accept the fact that many other actors also did not like to participate in such fasts.
Following this issue, the next big thing on hands were the Eelam-Lanka War issue. Sarath went on to plan for a day long fast for this but the effort brought dissatisfaction among all actors, as they all knew that such protests have political intentions and interests. Many actors including Ajith are aware of the fact that people like Sarath channelize such issues for their political benefits. It is truth that had anyone else lead this protest other than Sarath (who runs a political party), the actors would have whole heartedly participated instead of participating for the sake of it.
Ajith usually doesn’t participate in programmes that are meant for publicity,politics,etc and he has been avoiding them for many years. He also holds this as his virtue. He doesn’t even participate in cultural events organized by nadigar sangam , and usually makes an exit after contributing a good amount (in cash).Ajit would not want to favour Sarath’s political aspirations indirectly by participating in any fasts or functions organized by Nadigar Sangam. Assuming Ajit would not participate, Sarath and his supporters never informed Ajit about this EELAM TAMILS protest issue.
This is the point where Sarath and his supporters hatched a plot. If they somehow make Ajit speak on EELAM issue , it would be a victory to Sarath as a head of nadigar sangam and its like taming a wild horse that can never be tamed by anyone else. Hence, they decided to check mate Ajit. Since Sarath has worked as a journalist in his early days, he should have know the industry in and out. He and his supporters spread a news Through a third Rated Magazine called NAKEERAN that Ajith gave an open statement that he would not participate in this protest as he is an Indian. To wipe off any doubts they even added Arjun ( a non-Tamilian and non-related personality to Ajit) to this tangle.
Tamil people were fooled by Nakeeran’s words and they believed it. But even Ajit is responsible for this reaction. It is because of the bad boy image for his open on the face talk to media till few years back, that lead the readers of this magazine to believe in such a statement. It is a classic example of how ones past can haunt the present.
Meanwhile as a reaction to this news, many theatre owners abroad refused to screen Ajit and Arjun movies following which Arjun gave a statement clarifying the false news on him and Ajit spread by NAKEERAN. Ajit was pushed to situation where he had to sacrifice his virtue and principles. He consequently accepted to participate in the protest, but even then he expressed his condolences to the EELAM people only to print media (newspapers and magazines) and did not appear in any TV channels. Due to this Sarath pushed Ajit to a situation that he has to speak on stage during the protest and Ajit was forced to adhere to this.
Sarath has achieved atlast what he wanted – make ajith come to the protest and talk on stage. Next stage would be to give a talk in support of Ajith and impress all his crores of fans across the world as supporters / sympathizers of SARATH. Though Vijay and Ajith have equal number of fans across the world, it is Ajit’s fans who are always a step ahead in die-hardness and fanaticism. No hero who has given flops like Ajit (at a particular period between 2003 – 2005 ) have survived in this industry. But it is only Ajith who is able to bounce back with hat-trick hits after 2 years of very dull period. This is because of the incomparable support that his fans give to him that no other actors enjoy!.
But Ajit, being an epitome of scorching fire, demolished Sarath’s dream by uttering these words on stage : “Let Cinema Industry be Cinema Industry Please..”. This means do not use cinema as a vehicle or tool for political aspirations and clearly signaled his opposition to all people using cinema as entry into politics. “Do not shed crocodile tears for the suffering public, instead do some good within your capabilities”- was what Ajit meant. Whoever had indirect political ambitions and uttered rubbish on stage would have understood this. May be that is why these people want to get Ajit once again into trouble.
There is a very famous dialogue in Billa uttered by Ajit “If you turn on the pages of history of mankind, it will teach only one thing – kill anybody for your survival”. May be,Sarath has taken this cinema punch dialogue seriously….

To be frank - Ajith is falling in selecting the scripts, he has given chance to raju sundram who is not a familiar director. Not eve raju, like.. Maharajan, Perarasu, sigmanpuli, etc.. they are not well established directors in kollywood but he has given chance to them. butin the Gowtham cases i would like to say a thing, he is very talented director were he could convey a film with extrodinary looks and package than all in this kollywood except to few director.
If ajith is continously lossing this kinda opportunity he has to sit in his home itself. coz for certain period only fans will support, if u start to give this kinda films then i am dam sure u will loose you image in this TN. already i heard comment about u in public and i am big fan of ajith. I dont know whats happening over there!
Atlast dont ever think Agen would be the best movie, to the core it is worthless film and why did u spent that much of time for that film really horrible Ajith. Its not a single person’s request, its all from your fans feedback so hereafter look into your career movies ok……..

Adding to the above message; If ajith means he will try something newly in his films. I guess u r the trend setter in tamil industry but i dont see it now. i accept Billa is Blockbuster movie in your career but its all upto Rajini’s image….. U have star value but even if u r accpeting any role your fans will welcome that. For several years i dont see any worhty movie from your side afte

If you are stuck with Sivaji productions by getting an advance amount from them, give them back with some interest even if you happened to loose some huge chunk of money and go with GAUTHAM….say even 25% of your whole salary!!!
Just dump them!!! you have to do it at times…You need to keep doing thi, for you to float!!!!
Don’t look for “ALL THE BANNERS”…DUMP THEM!!!!! Catch hold of AASCAR, he is your man now!!!!

அஜீத் நடிக்க, சிவாஜி புரடக்ஷன்ஸ் நிறுவனம் தயாரிக்கும் படத்தின் இயக்குநர் பொறுப்பிலிருந்து கெளதம் மேனன் நீக்கப்பட்டு விட்டார்.
ஏகனைக் கொடுத்த கையோடு, பி்ல்லா படத்தின்போதே ஒப்புக் கொண்டபடி சிவாஜி புரடக்ஷன்ஸ் நிறுவன படத்திற்கு வந்து விட்டார் அஜீத். இப்படத்தை கெளதம் மேனன் இயக்குவதாக இருந்தது. பில்லா டைப்பில் தாதா வேடத்தில் அஜீத் நடிப்பதாக கூறப்பட்டிருந்தது. இந்த நிலையில், படத்தின் இயக்குநர் பொறுப்பிலிருந்து திடீரென கெளதம் மேனன் நீக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். அவருக்குப் பதில் தரணி புக் ஆகியுள்ளார்.
விஜய்யை வைத்து கில்லி, குருவி ஆகிய படங்களைக் கொடுத்தவர் தரணி. இதைத் தொடர்ந்து தற்போது அஜீத்திடம் வந்துள்ளார் தரணி. கெளதம் சொல்லியிருந்த கதையை விட்டு விட்டு புதிதாக ஒரு கதையை செய்யச் சொல்லியுள்ளனராம் தரணியிடம். அஜீத் ரசிகர்களுக்கேற்றார் போல தற்போது கதையை உருவாக்கி வருகிறாராம் தரணி.
டிசம்பரில் படப்பிடிப்பு தொடங்கும் எனத் தெரிகிறது.
கதை விஷயத்தில் அஜீத்துக்கும், கெளதம் மேனனுக்கும் இடையே கருத்து வேறுபாடுகள் ஏற்பட்டதே கெளதம் நீக்கப்பட்டதற்குக் காரணம் எனக் கூறப்படுகிறது.
வழக்கமான ஆக்ஷன் கதையாக இல்லாமல் ஒரு புதிய பாணியில் அஜீத்துக்காக கதை உருவாக்கியிருந்தாராம் கெளதம். அபுசலேம் - மோனிகா பேடி உறவை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட கதை இது என்கிறார்கள். சுராங்கனி என்று பெயர் கூட வைத்துவிட்டார்கள். தலைப்பு உடன்பாடாக இருந்தாலும், ஸ்க்ரிப்டில் அஜீத்துக்கு உடன்பாடு இல்லையாம்.
மேலும், ஒரு இயக்குநர் என்ற முறையில் அஜீத்துக்கு படம் குறித்த தகவல்களை முழுமையாகத் தெரிவிக்கவில்லையாம் கௌதம். குறிப்பாக கதை பற்றிய விவாதம் தொடங்கி, நடிகர்கள் தேர்வு வரை கதாநாயகன் மற்றும் தயாரிப்பாளர் பிரபு ஆகியோரைக் கலந்து பேசாமல் அவராகவே முடிவு செய்து இறுதியில்தான் அனுமதிக்கு வந்து நின்றதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது.
படம் துவங்குவதற்கு முன்பே இத்தனை குளறுபடி என்றால், படம் ஆரம்பித்த பிறகு எதற்கு தலைவலி என்றுதான் தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் பிரபு மற்றும் ராம்குமார் இந்த அதிரடி முடிவை மேற்கொண்டதாகத் தெரிகிறது.
அஜீத்திடம் தரணி ஒன் லைன் சொல்லியிருக்கிறாராம். அது அஜீத்துக்கும் பிடித்து விடவே, இப்போது அதை அஜீத்தைப் பக்கத்தில் வைத்துக் கொண்டே சுவாரஸ்ய முடிச்சுக்களோடு டெவலப் செய்து வருகிறார் தரணி.
