I saw the movie yesterday night in singapore,the movie is a comedy one little with action romance with 9N. Entertaining and rocking.

Sathyam Cinema’s has reported a record sale of 27, 355 tickets for Aegan, which is sold out till Tuesday night. Says Manager of a Mount road theatre: “The Aegan combo of Ajit- Nayanthara is deadly, and the film’s posters are very stylish and the trailer looks as though it is Billa-2!
And news from overseas markets where Aegan has already released today(Oct 24) is very encouraging. The film is said to be a “rip-roaring entertainer”, and people are enjoying it. The film may turn out to be Ayngaran International’s first super hit!

Aegan,its not a remake of Main Hoon Na after you watch the movie for 1st 5 minutes.You’ll realise Its totaly Ajith Movie for Ajith Fans.Aegan show Ajith in most dashing and handsome way that Ajith movie should.The story is simple,but the comedy is the main point in here.For Ajith,eventhough its the 1st full comedy movie.He really come out very well and sincerely make people laugh.Even Suman also trying comedy villain this time far different from the character he played in Sivaji or Kuruvi.So its the movie that’ll make 100 days run for sure,will get theather crowded again and again.Its a movie that show Ajith in a different role or maybe we can also imagine like its a extension role of Ajith Vellu role in Billa.Everything perfect except the climax that look like to quick and in some scene Ajith like kindal his ownself(like telling he got topai).For this,i just need Ajith to show in his next Gautham Menon film that he can reduced that weight and make other people to stop and take a look at him.But seriously,i really enjoy Aegan movie and the cinemas full of Ajith fans.Even the audience start to tease Vijay and Surya,thats fun for me.Coz its show something like audience feeling throughout the whole movie.So my final verdict,Aegan gonna be a massive hit and no doubt bout it!

I just got home after watching the movie…
The tickets for today were sold out……….the movie was slick… specially the music videos were so colorful and you get to see Ajith dancing after a very long time….his dance moves were so awesome……..this movie was so funny from start till end……u totaly forget the main plot of the movie….
and yeah its safe to say its like Billa 2……..this movie is a sure blockbuster

Aegan for sure it is a super hit movie. Aegan is playing in 4 screens in Toronto, Canada with a total of 12 shows everyday. Only Ajith movies get released this big in Canada. Billa played for almost 3 months in Toronto in 4 screens. Most movies including sivaji only run for 30 days. Ajith sure has mass fans in Toronto. Aegan is a comedy movie….and Ajith acutally tried some awosome dance moves. You don’t really get to see Thala dancing much but Agean is different and it will be a super hit.

Superb movie thala i saw the movie.. u were awesome.. great work by raju sundaram… superb comedy flick.. Biggest hit of the year’s… thanks 2 all the ajith’s fans… they were rocking the thatres… SUperb Background music by yuvan… thanks 2 yuvan… Even small characters were beautifully scripted with nice dialouges… & 1 thin is ajith should hav reduced his weight a little… if tat was there then the dance steps he played will give more impact than this… the dance was good but still we dint get a complete finish…
But in the whole the movie is awsome.. 1 of the gr8 movie ever by thala… the biggest opening ever & the biggest hit of the year…
Let’s celebrate this diwali in a grand manner.. this is realyy a thala diwali…

FIRST THANKS TO MR.RAJU SUNDARAM FOR DIRECTING HIS FIRST MOVIE WITH A GREAT ENTERTAINMENT.PROMISING THERE WERE NO SINGLE BORING SCENE IN THE FILM.HE DIRECTED THE FILM LIKE A EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR,ONCE AGAIN HATS-OFF TO THE DIRECTOR.BECAUSE I WAS FEELING BAD WHEN RAJU SUNDARAM ANNOUNCED AS A DIRECTOR FOR THALA’S FILM.BUT NOW HE IS PROVED HIMSELF. HAI AJITH’S GREATEST FAN’S U CANNOT SIT AND WATCH AEGAN IN MADURAI COZ FOR THE FULL MOVIE FAN’S WERE STANDING,DANCING,SHOUTING ETC.I WAS NOT HEARING FIRST HALF AN HOUR DIALOGUE IN THE MOVIE.THANKS FOR OUR THALA FOR GIVING SUCH A EXCELLENT MOVIE THIS DIWALI.HIS PERFORMANCE IN THE FILM WERE ROCKING.ESPECIALLY THALA’S INTRODUCTION SCENE WITH CIGARETTE AND IN HONG KONG ALSO!!! the movie was like another dheena except the first 15 minutes…songsare rocking and the movie ll be really gr8 ..njoy the jolly ride wit the comedy done wit a superb stuff by ajith n jeyaram….one important note here for the vj fans…ajith has not given u any chance to tease him abt his topai n other dance issues coz he had danced well inspite of his being fat…n he had told tat he got topai n alll….so no probs twait n watch the next movie coz he is reducing 25 kgs for his next movie n this is a good to hea for ajith fans…only one small minus point that is the climax was too short ..but that is not a problem it was the last dia logue tat was really cool …happy thala diwali for thala fans …

hello everybody.. i personally feel Aegan is thala’s first comedy hit action. it has been framed in such a way that all the audience will enjoy watching the movie along with the ajith fans. i was laughing through the movie.. wherever actions r required its been placed perfectly.. it is a typical commercial movies..
Many are feeling jealous of Thala’s growth. one example is. they have tried to spoil his name by simply publishing some unconfirmed news in nakkeran about lankan tamilians issue. why is he gonna say like that to the press. practically no one will tell even if they feel so. think . think.. this is done by the influence of some people against ajith. they have done it at the right time(Aegan). but we have to prove them wrong by showing our power.
AEGAN DOESNT HAVE A BIG THRILLING STORY BUT IT IS A VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD MASALA MOVIE..

aegan is a mixture of comedy,romance,action and sentiments.its a perfect mixture.raju sundaram has done a very good job in his first movie.After a long time ajith has concentrated more in comedy and has come out excellent.Thala’s dance s too good.superb screenplay makes us glued to the seats.Its no way for any “arrow” or a “sparrow” to reach this height of aegan.

I am just out of Aegan evening show. I Would like to say one thing here, from the begining till the end of the show i had enjoyed the movie well its a pure entertainer no doubt about it . Sir not only me each and every one has enjoyed the movie. The movie has shown you in new Avathar i mean it showed you a lot in comedy sequence. And Ajith sir i would like to say one thing sir the hard work you had done for bringing comedy expressions it reflected very well evedent while seeing in the silver screen . Sir it worked out and shaped up well sir. For example the your meeting with Nayan to discuss on college function along with navdeep and piya. Here you had proved to the film world that doing comedy will come handy, through this movie.Dance sequence is simply superb hats off Ajith sir. Through this movie you had proved once again that people with hard work in their respective fields will never fail. The Climax Fight Shows that how much you got involved wit the story line which has made you to avoid the DUPE. Fantastic Sir. You Never worried about the Back Operations which happened in the past SEVERAL HATS OFF SIR EXCELLENT work out.

Ajith Kumar had raised all our expectations with his previous flick ‘Billa’ for his sole stylish looks and performance. However, it was a great delightedness for ‘A’ Centres and ‘Aegan’ is a commercial entertainer for ‘B’ and ‘C’ Centres. Certain parts may not be liked by elite group of audiences. Ajith Kumar offers his best talents to the uttermost level in dance and action sequences. Raju Sudaram hasn’t just remade the film but adapted it according to the tastes of Tamil audiences.
The film opens with Siva (Ajith Kumar), a CB CID official bumping off international criminals headed by John Chinnappa (Suman). None are able to trap John Chinnappa and problems begin when one of his group members Ram Prasad gets away from him for turning into an approver. Unfortunately, Ram Prasad’s wife is bumped off and his daughter Pooja (Piyaa) gets away from him.
Karthikeyan (Nasser), step-father of Siva as well as City Commissioner appoints him to go ahead as a student in Saint John’s College. It is where Pooja studies and this mission is to trap Ram Prasad who is missing (John Chinnappa can be trapped only on Ram Prasad’s statement).
Getting into college doesn’t make things easier for him as none of the college students mingle with him. College Principal Albert (Jayaram) admits him into his college offering him all the facilities and he is a man with five-sense (6th sense is missing – that’s what narrator says in the intro part). Pooja has no likeliness for her father and she finds only delightedness in Kishore (Navdeep).
As Pooja is kidnapped once by the John Chinnappa, Siva rescues them and the entire college reciprocates offering good friendship. Here, begins the jolly ride of fun and frolic with college mania and Siva falling in love with his professor Malikka (Nayanthara) is cool delightedness.
Now Siva gets immersed in college life, with his entire rough and tough characterization being vanished. On the same time, he has to accomplish his mission of trapping the baddies… Well, as the title suggests, he accomplishes the task, but there is something surprising he gets about a new relationship.
Taking on terms of performance, it’s just Ajith Kumar who rules the show. Be it dance or action or comedy sequences, he does it outstandingly. Nayanthara is not appealing in her looks, though she seems to be working out for that factor with glamorous costumes. Nevertheless, she gets you annoyed with her performance. Navdeep and Piyaa stride with moderate efforts. If the entire film looks humorous it’s because of Jayaram and Haneefa. Suman presented in different dimension of comedy oriented is something new and Sriman accompanying him is a good show. Nasser and Suhasini do justice to their roles.
Raju Sundaram has precisely got the best out of Ajith Kumar. Thala fascinates with his enthusiastic approach in all parts. The same script of Main Hoon Naa has been taken, but the director has tried something different in screenplay making some changes. Raju has failed in brining the excellent looks of college and almost all the scenes look artificial.
Musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja is not so impressive and only ‘Hey Saala’ offers grandness and don’t miss Ajith’s dance over there. The first half is good and perfect while the latter half is bit dampening. Whatever may be? If you love Thala, then you will not notice any of the flaws.
On the whole, ‘Aegan’ is a commercial entertainer for all the masses. Walk into theatres without any expectations of Billa and you will enjoy it.

Aegan Film is not bad. bcos i expect it like billa. but its a comedy film. our thala did well in comedy and dance. first half of film is really good, but 2nd half is really bored up to climax. so u have to watch it first but dont expect this film is like billa.
Thala please do the mass films like billa.

I seen the movie on 25th / Evening show, the movie is not a action movie , it’s a comedy movie.
Ajith’s done a good job in this movie.Background music and songs are very good.

I have seen the movie today at satyam.Movie is so good. This film is not lagging any where. It is like feel good movie.Not any much of violence and blood. Comedy is good.Hats off to Thala for the wonderful acting(well supported by Haneefa).Nayanthara looks sexy…Film rocks. Want to see aleast 1 more time with my family. Good movie.Enjoy.
