The one and only “Thala” Ajith is coming again with yet another action chronicle Aegan. His blockbuster hit “Billa” drove his die hard fans go crazy that also expanded a great mob of new “Ajith” fans. Children below ten recognize and address him as Billa rather than Ajith.
Aegan means the One and it refers to Hindu Supreme God Shiva. He is the destroyer of evil forces and also the God of revolution. That applies to Aegan as well as the lead role of Ajith potrays a specially trained commando personnel who aims to shoot enemies by bending bullets. Yuvan Shankar Raja and Ajith combined earlier delivering two smash hit movies “Dheena” and “Billa”. This will be the third time and the songs are already on progress towards sensational hits undoubtedly.
Ajith plays a special task force commander, the kind of squad only used for special tactic operations. A situation arises where he has to get back to his family members. Enthralled with rising emotions and love for his blood brother he decides to stay with that family not revealing his real identity. There he falls in love with a woman of his dreams. He is also a patriotic defender of his motherland. Caught up in a dilemma of romance and emotions he also has to protect his country from the intruders. He is the one and he will succeed but how? Ajith fans!! You got to wait and watch out for the movie release.
When we probed Director Raju Sundaram for a panoramic flow of the movie cast and crew he said “I am extremely happy to work with Ultimate star in my first movie itself. We had a great time shooting in Yercaud and Hongkong with a crew that is completely obliging. We are flying to Swiss to film some major scenes and a duet song and I look forward to the release of Aegan”.
Aegan is packed with heart –stopping action performance that takes us on a white-knuckle ride. Ajith fans who loves calling him as “Thala” waiting eagerly for this nail biting action flick. Aegan cracks on “Diwali” in Cinemas nearby.

“Why did Kuruvi celebrate 150 days?”

I would like to ask the team of behindwoods.com a question to which I need a answer. Recently, I saw the function by the team of Kuruvi celebrating its completion of 150 days. Everyone in Tamilnadu knows that the movie is a flop. Everyone knows the so-so reviews the movie got. In spite of that they celebrate a 150th day function! It’s
not just Kuruvi - all the films that had bad reviews and little collection are doing 100 days. My question to you is: “whom are they trying to convince or what are they trying to prove from this”?
Nowadays even a blockbuster movie cannot run for 100 days because of the availability of pirated DVDs; also there are lot of websites from where the movies are available free of cost. I don’t say that people are not watching movies in the theatre. I am sure that if the movie gets good reviews, then people come to theatres and watch it. And if the movie does not get good reviews, they don’t want to waste their money - hence they download it from these sites. Even I was able to watch some of the directors struggling to speak at that function. They didn’t know what to say.
Even Chandramukhi ran for 700 odd days just because they wanted to set a record. Does Tamil cinema have some political influence off screen?

Hi Guys,
Watched Aegan first day first show (9.30AM) at Shanthi Theatre,chennai. Movie is good and it will be a commercial hit for Ajith. Thala is rocking in every frame. Second half was bit vague and slow, but the perfomance of Thala makes us feel comfortable. Dance sequences are made well by Rajusundaram. Entire theatre rocks for “Hey Salaa” song. The concept of “Hey Baby” song is quite different and impressive. Sure Prabhudeva must have helped RS for that song. Thala itself has tried making comedy and it really worked like ajith saying to hanifa “Azhudhuduven”,etc. Episode of Jayram and co should be deleted to make the movie crisp. Flashback scenes at the end should be trimmed. Nayanthara does her part well. Navdeep and Piaa also done there part well. Overall a commercial movie, will be liked by the family audience.
Another hit movie for Thala “Ajith”
PS: Just go and watch the movie without expectation. Sure everybody will like.

In Tirunelveli HELLO F.M,there isa super hit programme daily named as AVASARAKAOZHI 008 telecast from 8 am to 9am. on friday, due to AEGAN release, they had telecasted from PERINBAVILAS THEATRE where the film is going to be released. The compere said that it seems like today(friday) tobe a DIWALI. They had telecasted aegan songs throughout the program.
