Aegan is releasing with a U certificate on 25th of this month. There is a lot of hype for this movie. Aegan marks the debut of the choreographer Raju Sundaram as a director. The ultimate star has congratulated Raju Sundaram on the output of this film. There is a high demand for tickets. Tickets have been sold out for 4 days within few minutes when the plans opened. But there is still chance for you to get the glimpse of the movie if you win the SMS contest organised by Kalaignar TV.

மேன் ஹுன் னா படத்தின் ரீ-மேக்கான ஏகனில் ராணுவ அதிகாரியாக நடித்துள்ளார் அஜித். ஹாங்காங்கில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட சண்டை காட்சிகளில் ரிஸ்க் எடுத்து நடித்துள்ளார் அஜித்.

தீபாவளி படங்களில் அஜித்தின் ஏகனுக்கு இணையாக எதிர்பார்ப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கும் படம் ஹரியின் சேவல். ஹரி கடைசியாக இயக்கிய மூன்று படங்களும் சூப்பர் ஹிட் என்பதால் விநியோகஸ்தர்கள் மத்தியிலும் படத்துக்கு எதிர்பார்ப்பு அதிக அளவில் உள்ளது.
படத்தில் வடிவேலு நடித்திருப்பதும் இந்த அதிகபடியான எதிர்பார்ப்புக்கு ஒரு காரணம். படத்தில் அவர் ஏறக்குறைய இரண்டாவது ஹீரோவாக வருகிறார். சரியாகச் சொன்னால் படதில் இவர் 35 காட்சிகளில் நடித்திருக்கிறார். அதாவது, இரண்டு காட்சிக்கு ஒரு காட்சியில் வடிவேலு நடித்திருக்கிறார்.

வெளியான முதல் வாரம் சரோஜாவை பின்னுக்குத் தள்ளி முதலிடத்தை ஜெயம் ரவியின் தாம்தூம் படம் கைப்பற்றியது. பிறகு முதலிடத்திற்கு முன்னேறிய சரோஜாவை காதலில் விழுந்தேன் படம் மீண்டும் இரண்டாம் இடத்துக்கு தள்ளியது.

The booking for Aegan opened today, with fans clamoring for tickets. It is now confirmed that it will open on the 25th, and the booking is really, really hot. Currently as we write this news, tickets are booked up to Tuesday in Chennai. Besides, since all the multiplexes are given a go ahead by the government for the early morning (8.30 a.m) shows, Aegan’s producers are on cloud nine.

Of the 400 prints made, 122 prints will be sent overseas according to Arun Pandiyan, Executive Producer of the movie who talked to Behindwoods on behalf of Ayngaran Internationals. 14 prints will be sent to US and 12 to UK. Three prints are being sent to Swiss. So far only one print of Tamil movies was sent to Swiss, it is to be noted. For the first time, Aegan will be released in Hong Kong and Norway. This would serve as a platform for other Tamil movies in those countries in the future, Arun Pandiyan mentioned.

hi thala fans our thala movie is releasing on sat, nd do u all knw how many shows thy r running in MAYAJAAL in ECR hmmm thts gr8 tht thy r playing 46 shows per day in 10 screens its even bigger thn DASAVATHARAM ND SIVAJI WOW THALA ROCKS, guys can check with the schedule of movie nd the show is to be played for evy 15 mins, hats of to thala:)

கௌதம் வாசுதேவ்-மேனன். தமிழ் சினிமாவில் புது முயற்சிகளில் ஆர்வம் காட்டும் இயக்குநர்கள் பட்டியலில் கவனத்தை ஈர்க்கிறார். சூர்யாவோடு இணைந்திருக்கும் `வாரணம் ஆயிரம்’ இறுதிக்கட்ட வேலைகளில் இருக்கிறார். ஒரு மாலைப்-பொழுதில் எடிட்டிங்கில் இருந்த கௌதம் வாசுதேவ் மேனனைச் சந்தித்தபோது…
“வாரணம் ஆயிரம்’ ஒரு ஆக்ஷன் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பு இருக்கிறது. உண்மையில் இது ஆக்ஷன் படமே இல்லை. `காக்க காக்க’விலிருந்து முற்றிலும் மாறுபட்ட படம் பண்ணவேண்டுமென்று சூர்யாவிடம் புது லைன் சொன்னேன். இதற்கிடையில் என் அப்பா மறைந்துவிட்டார். அவருடைய இறப்புக்குப் பிறகு இந்தக் கதையையே வேறு மாதிரியாக எடுக்கலாமே என்ற எண்ணம் எழுந்தது. காதல், சந்தோஷம், துக்கம் இவற்றிற்கு நடுவில் ஒரு அப்பா எப்படி ஒரு முதுகெலும்பு போல வாழ்க்கைக்குத் துணை நிற்கிறார் என்ற விஷயத்தை என் அப்பாவின் மறைவுக்குப் பின்னால் கதைக்குள் கொண்டு வந்தேன். இன்றைக்கு தமிழ் சினிமாவில் கமலுக்குப் பிறகு மோஸ் வெர்ஸடைல் ஆக்டர் என்றால் சூர்யாதான்.
அஜித்துடன் இணைந்து படம் பண்ணும் எண்ணம் எனக்குண்டு. ஒரு முறை சந்தித்தபோது கேஷுவலாக ஒரு லைன் சொன்னேன். அவருக்கு அந்த லைன் பிடித்திருந்தது. உடனே என்னை நம்பி, `நாம் படம் பண்ணுவோம்’ என்றார் அஜித். இன்றைக்கு வரை கூட என்ன ஸ்கிரிப்ட், என்ன பண்ணப்போகிறோம் என்று கேட்டது இல்லை. அப்படியொரு நம்பிக்கையை இயக்குநருக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். இதேமாதிரி செல்வராகவன், தரணி, லிங்குசாமி, சசிகுமார், வெங்கட்பிரபு என பல இயக்குநர்கள் இருக்கிறார்கள். ஒரு லைன் சொல்லி, ஷூட்டிங்கிற்கு முன்பாக முழு ஸ்கிரிப்டையும் தயார் பண்ணி விடுவார்கள். இந்த மாதிரி இயக்குநர்களுக்கு ஹீரோக்களும் நம்பிக்கை கொடுக்கவேண்டும். இது ஆரோக்கிய-மான, புதுமையான சினிமாவிற்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லும்.
அஜித்தை வைத்து வழக்கம்போல் இல்லாமல் வேறு மாதிரியாக காட்ட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன். அவர் மோஸ்ட் ஹேண்ட்சம் ஹீரோ என நிறையப் பேர் சொல்வார்கள். அதை நான் ஒரு காதல் கதையில் யூஸ் பண்ணலாம் என நினைத்திருக்கிறேன். அவருக்குப் பிடிக்கும் கேங்ஸ்டர்ஸ் விஷயங்களையும் சேர்த்துப் பண்றேன். ஒரு பெண்ணுடைய பார்வையில் ஒரு ஹீரோ எப்படி இருக்கிறார் என்பதுதான் கதை. தொடர்ந்து மூன்று மாதம் ஷூட்டிங். ஏப்ரல் பதினான்காம் தேதி ரிலீஸ் என திட்டமிட்டு இருக்கிறோம். அஜித்தின் பெயர் `சுறா’. பெயர் எப்படியிருக்கிறது?”.
