Aegan is Ajith’s 48th film. Ajith dons the role of a police officer. Nayanthara who stormed Billa with her glamour becomes a tsunami in this film. She is donning the role off a college professor and pairing with Ajith. Navdeep has donned the role of Ajith’s brother. Navdeep who impressed with his acting in the film Ariyindhum Ariyamalum is doing a prominent role in this film.

Suman, Suhasini, Jayaram, Nasar, Sriman and Haneefa are also in the cast. This film is a remake of the block buster Hindi film Mein Hoon Na. This film has been modified to suit the taste of Tamil audience and Ajith’s fans. Popular writers S Ramakrishnan and Crazy Mohan has penned the dialogues.

Raju Sundaram has directed this film.

Raju Sundaram who choreographed more than 1000 songs in all Indian languages is an experienced person. He had also done comedy roles in some of the films. He has a great sense of humour so he felt that the first film which he has directed should have a lot of humour. So from start to begin the film is filled with comedy scenes which will create a laughing riot. As a choreographer he has taken mush pain to bring out the dancing skills of Thala in this film.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the lyrics penned by Pa Vijay and Sneghan.

Raju shot the introductory scenes at Hong Kong. Few chasing scenes, two fight scenes and two song sequences were shot there. Intermittently the film’s shooting took place at Chennai, Ooty and Yercaud. The last schedule featuring a song sequences was shot in the exotic locales of Swiss. Aegan crew shot an important college scene after obtaining special permission at Yercaud.

The beautiful locales chosen by the art director Millan was captured with excellence by the cinematographer Arjun Jana. He was an assistant of the ace cinematographer P C Sriram. His camera work is on par with Hollywood films. His camera has made the handsome Ajith more gorgeous.

Stunt Siva has shown his full caliber in Aegan. He was the one who orchestrated the fight sequences in Pithamaghan. The fight sequences in this film would be much talked about. And on other part Ram - Lakshman has a sole stunt which involves Thala.

Ayngaran International who takes Tamil films to International markets is producing this film. This film is being released with over 200 prints and with 12 prints exclusively for USA. This will the first film of Ajith releasing with so many number of prints.

Ajith has changed a lot after reading the book Himalaya masters gifted by Rajnikanth. After reading this book he has learnt to become more serene and composed. Recently he had been to Shiridi and Tirupathi. He has also visited his presiding deity Bhagavathy Amman Koil in Kerala. He is also a frequent visitor to Velankanni church. Ajith has also recently offered prayers at a mosque on the day of Ramzan. His devotion has no caste, creed or religion.

Ajith’s next film will be with director Gowtham Menon and produced by Shivaji Productions. After this Ajith will concentrating on his 50th film. Far nay actor the 50th film is supposed to be an important point in their career. Hence Ajith is looking for a good script and director. This film will satisfy all the Ajith Fans.

Recently Ajith has seen Poi Solla Porom and Saroja. The last film which he has seen was Aegan. He is fully satisfies with Aegan’s outcome and congratulated director Raju sundaram.
