After every name was discussed, including Anushka Shetty’s, finally the search has stopped with Tamannaah, who was missing in action in Tamil films is now acting in Ajith’s mass entertainer -directed by Shiva and produced by the famed Vijaya Productions.
The Paiyaa star was all along insisting that she was not visible in K’town because she was getting too busy with Tollywood films. Now, the biggest buzz is that Tammu was lured with a fancy fee. If sources are to be believed, the deal was sealed at `1.5 crore, which puts her in the category of `highest paid actress’ in Tamil films, only behind the sizzling Nayanthara. A source close to Tamannaah says, “She has been paid what she deserves and not as rumoured in reports.“

I said this once and I will say it again, Tammannaah is the worst possible choice for the role opposite Ajith. I cannot believe how short sighted the producers/directors are in going for her. What extra does thing does she bring to screen except for skin show? And does an actor of Ajith’s stature need actresses who are willing to do skin show as an attraction for the movie? I get a very bad feeling about this movie even before it has gone to the floor.
The only one laughing all the way to the bank is Tammannaah. Can’t act, nothing much to look at except for white skin and just goes with where the cash is. And she is worth (if rumours are to be believed) more than 1 crore! Oh Tamil films…how low have you fallen!
