Her quick entry into Kollywood has admittedly taken even her by surprise. “I never expected to be working in films, and I guess my performance in United Six for me to be offered such a big role in Billa-2,” Parvathy says.
In the city to inaugurate the fifth outlet of the Sri Palam Silk Saree store recently, the Miss World runner-up spoke excitedly about her role in the film.
“I play the role of Jasmine, Ajith’s love interest in the movie and it was very exciting to be part of the entire franchise. Despite being such a big star, he was extremely down-to-earth and made me feel very comfortable on the sets. He also gave me quite a few tips on acting,” she gushes.
Having landed a pivotal role early in her acting career, Parvathy is also open to Bollywood offers, and would like to make a name for herself as an actress.
“There are very few people who get an opportunity to work in Bollywood, and I am open to any offers coming my way. I would like to make my mark in the industry as an actress of substance in the coming years,” she signs off.
