The entire Tamil film industry and small screen celebrities were gathered for the occasion of honoring Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi for providing housing schemes for film professionals. When it was a moment of thunder-blast performance by the ducky-stars of Kollywood, the entire throngs were taken to fleet of astonishment with the stunning speech of Ajith Kumar.

He was into the act of pleading CM about issuing a direction that film personalities shouldn’t be forced to take part in social and political events. Adding more he said, “We are very often called in for such occasions under critical situations. When, we fail to make our presence, few members barely throw strict words that they wouldn’t extend their support in our times of hardships or any activities. We are just actors and kindly save us by doing justice to our profession….”

Soon as Ajith Kumar delivered such a powerful speech, Superstar Rajnikanth went irresistible over giving a standing ovation to the actor

Indeed, Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi stated that politics and films shouldn’t be mixed for every reason. Chief Guest Amitabh Bachchan supported Ajith Kumar’s statement saying that he wasn’t present here because of political arenas, but for the sake of respect he has for Tamil Cinema.

C’est un très bon film. Très stylisé avec des actions. Mais c’est dommage qu’il ya pas de acting comme GOD FATHER.
Je trouve que vous êtes actuellement le meilleur acteur (style, action et acting; très complet) après rajinikanth et kamal.

je pense qu’il faut faire des films sur des histoires de familles avec autant de style que billa et asal.

மதுரையில் மீனாட்சி மார்க்கெட்டில் அஜீத் நடித்த அசல் திரைப்படத்தின் திருட்டு டிவிடி அமோகமாக விற்கப்படுகிறது. ரூ.15க்கே இங்கு டிவிடி கிடைக்கிறதாம். ஆனால் ‘தமிழ்ப்படம்’ படத்தின் டிவிடிக்கள் மட்டும் எங்குமே விற்கப்படவில்லை என்று அஜீத் ரசிகர்கள் குமுறுகிறார்கள்.

அஜீத்தின் அசல் படம் வெள்ளிக்கிழமை வெளியானது. சனிக்கிழமையன்றே இந்தப் படத்தின் திருட்டு டிவிடி சென்னை, பாண்டிச்சேரி உள்ளிட்ட இடங்களில் வந்துவிட்டது. இணைய தளங்களில் நல்ல பிரிண்டே பார்வைக்கு விடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மதுரையில் உள்ள மீனாட்சி மார்க்கெட்டில் அசல் படத்தின் டிவிடிகள் தாராளமாய் விற்கப்படுகின்றன.

ஆனால் அழகிரி மகன் தயாரித்து, அதற்கு முந்தைய வாரமே வெளியான தமிழ்ப் படம் என்ற சினிமாவின் டிவிடிகள் மட்டும் இதுவரை மதுரைக்குள் விற்கப்படவில்லையாம்.

இதனை எதிர்த்து அஜீத்தின் ரசிகர்கள் இருவர் மார்க்கெட்டில் கேள்வி எழுப்ப, அங்கிருந்த சிலர் அவர்களை அடித்து உதைத்துள்ளனர். இதில் ஒரு ரசிகரின் மண்டை உடைந்துள்ளது. இது குறித்து மீனாட்சி மார்கெட் போலீஸ் நிலையத்தில் புகார் தரப்பட்டது. விஷயம் தெரிந்ததும் 1000க்கும் மேற்பட்ட அஜீத் ரசிகர்கள் மார்க்கெட்டில் குவிந்துவிட, சிடி கடைகள் அனைத்தும் மூடப்பட்டனவாம்.

பின்னர் போலீசார் தலையிட்டு சமாதானப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். அப்போது, ‘இரண்டு வாரங்களுக்கு முன்பு வெளியான தமிழ்ப்படத்தை திருட்டு டிவிடியாக வெளியில் விடாத நீங்கள், இரண்டு நாள்களுக்கு முன் வெளியான அசலை மட்டும் எப்படி விற்கலாம்?’ என்று கேள்வி எழுப்பியுள்ளனர்.

இதைத் தொடர்ந்து இனி அசலையும் விற்க மாட்டோம் என்று வியாபாரிகள் தரப்பில் கூறப்பட்டதாம்.

ரசிகர்களைத் தாக்கியது ஏன் என்று ரசிகர் மன்ற பிரமுகர் ஒருவர் கேட்டதற்கு, வியாபாரிகள் சங்கத்தைச் சேர்ந்த நிர்வாகி ஒருவர் இப்படிக் கூறியுள்ளார்:

‘நாமெல்லாம் மதுரக்காரய்ங்கய்யா… உன்னைய நான் அடிக்காம வேறு யாருய்யா அடிப்பான்?’ என்றாராம்.
